Question by yoursfaithfully2: How is Continental Airlines with their services?
I’m debating if I should go with either Continental Airlines or with Delta for a trip from SBN to SEA in mid-August. I’m looking for any recommendations on how Continental does with their flights (delays, customer services, etc.); any good/bad experiences with this airline, etc. Thanks in advance for any heads up.

They’re pretty good with their schedules. Customer Service? There is no such thing for airlines! You can buy your ticket and get your boarding pass electronically and just drop you bags with a sky-cap! you might not ever speak to an actual airline employee until you get on line at the gate! and then they’ll say hello and you’ll jump in your seat!!!!! Airline seats are commodity items, just like computers and cellphones….you buy and use and then throw them away! Have a good trip!

I typically fly about 60-75,000 miles each year and Continental is my preferred domestic airline. They seem to have slightly more legroom that Delta, they have movies on all their flights where many airlines have cut back, and they don’t sell those rediculous $5 snack boxes. On every flight I have taken over 2-3 hours they give you something to eat. It’s not gourmet, but it’s better than nothing. I have also found their flight attendants to be plesant and have had few (if any) scheduling delays.
Both Delta and Continental participate in the same aliance for frequent flyer miles, so if you already have a Delta, Continental, or Northwest account, you can use this flight to add to it.
I fly 40 weeks a year.
Both are decent in regards to customer service.
They all have some issues when it comes to delays etc.
Continental has more leg room on some aircraft, but not all.
Continental is one of the only that still serves a snack on flights over 90 minutes.
From SBN, I assume you must have a layover. So I might suggest looking at total time of travel – and also what airport your layover is in. My guess is either Chicago or Detroit?
